Family Law Firm seeking to fill a position with an attorney admitted to practice in Connecticut. Seeking an associate that is an energetic self starter with good work ethic. The position will require excellent oral and writing skills. The successful applicant will have a keen attention to detail and have the ability to work directly with clients on various aspects of litigation. Candidate must be admitted to Connecticut Bar.

Duties:

Attend Family Court for various divorce and family law matters.
Assist Senior Attorney in every aspect of litigation, including trials, court appearances, and depositions.

Frequent contact with firm’s clients
Legal Research and analysis

Draft Financial Affidavits
Review financial discovery including financial documents and data

Execute case strategy with Senior Attorney, Paralegals, clients and support staff.
Manage trial proceedings by working with support staff in organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and ensuring that witnesses are ready and prepared when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
